1. Hand Wash or Gentle Machine Wash: Wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Turn the fabric inside out to preserve the colors and patterns.
2. Never use bleach or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the fabric and cause the colors to fade.
3. Hang the fabric to air dry rather than using a dryer. Direct sunlight can fade the colors, so dry it in the shade or indoors. Avoid wringing the fabric, as this can distort its shape.
4. Iron the fabric on the reverse side using a low to medium heat setting. If necessary, you can place a cloth between the iron and the fabric to protect the colors and patterns.
5. Store African wax fabric in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and damage. Avoid folding it for long periods to prevent creasing. If you must fold it, do so gently and avoid sharp creases.
